Maggie Quinn | Co-Founder, former Director and current Board Member

Maggie developed and ran the first-in-the-nation peer doula program for pregnant incarcerated women in Chicago. Her background in nonprofit development and program management supported her efforts as COTS Director, but she is also a Birth Justice Certified Doula and Certified Lactation Counselor and is the founder of a mutual aid network that still provides access to free food in the community of Evanston, IL. She has a BA in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies, is a Certified Substitute Teacher who has worked in public schools both in IL and OH with a diverse range of kiddos, and has training and organizing experience related to equity and diversity in education. She currently works as an Outreach Manager for I Am Boundless.

As the mother of three incredible daughters, Maggie is passionate about raising awareness and creating a nurturing environment for everyone in her community. She keeps Columbus on the Spectrum going with her authenticity, passion for mission-driven work, and zeal for the next!
